Default GPS Route on Google Earth

    garmin route to google earth.jpg

I finally decided to play with a route I had saved on my Garmin from a recent SNP hike.
This may be old news to most of you, but this is the first time I actually loaded the saved route into Google Earth.......... and I think it is COOL!

You actually get an interactive route laid out of your hike that can show you elevation profiles and allow you to pinpoint any spot on that route while matching it up to actual time of day, elevation, slope, speed...... etc.etc.

    Pretty wild!
