    Default thermometer

We always have debates about how cold it got at night on hikes here and i want to get some sort of thermometer that will tell me lows but is also light enough and small enough to carry any ideas?

Mine has the compass as well. I rarely use a compass hiking as I tend to not get lost, so it's fine for me.

4 in 1 watch with one of the features as a thermometer. No extra gear required to carry either.

Probably want something like this inexpensive Timex TX5020 LCD Electronic Indoor and Outdoor Thermometer.

I've seen similar thermometers at Target and Walmart, usually in the hardware section.

Dogs are excellent judges of character, this fact goes a long way toward explaining why some people don't like being around them.

Except you can't wear it if you want the correct temperature.

I had watch like that, but you had to take it off to get an accurate temperature reading as body heat raised the reading about 10 degrees.

Yes, you have to have the watch off for 10 to 15 minutes to get an accurate temp.
