Are you saying hormel makes there chili now in a dehydrated form?if so..I'd try it.And if your saying just dehydrate there can chili?I'd try that too.But getting away from 39% sodium intrests me.

Dried apples are great. If you want awesome, try drying fresh strawberries. Cut them in half, put them seed-side-down on the trays, and dry. Then toss them in gorp or in your granola for breakfast.

The 1/2 part wont work in drying - freeze dried or dried Big Cranky.... its about removing water. thin slices will work better! just like my post about solar panels the biggest discovery was thinner smaller closer together lines makes more power...

    3 Grannys = 3oz - AWESOME!

We've been drying strawberries by cutting them in half for twenty years. NOW you tell me I'm doing it wrong. Huh.

Anyway, thin slices don't work because they stick to the tray. The point of putting the seed side down is to prevent this.
