Default Any Sobo e2e-ers starting July 1st?

I was originally planning Nobo, but had an "ah ha!" moment and realized sobo made more sense for me. I start July 1st. Just seeing if anybody else had similar plans!

I am sure I will run into you! Look for a young kid with a scraggly beard and holes in his ears I have never been so anxious for something. Spring is just about here and I cant wait for the hiking to begin!

Scraggly doesn't do much narrowing but holes sure do! Planning for this hike has consumed me. I think about it at work, at school, when my girlfriend is talking to me (oops) and everywhere in between. Feeling quite confident I have thought of most details. This site has a wealth of information that has helped a lot too.

I feel the same way about my upcoming hike, everywhere I go and everything I do, the first thing I think about is my hike. I couldn't count the number of hours of sleep I've lost from thinking about this!

Same here. It's all I talk about lately too. Probably driving my friends and family a bit nuts with the continual running thoughts about my gear and plans that just keep bubbling out.

Any question from folks that start with: "What have you been up to?" means you had better be ready to hear about my plans to hike the LT this coming summer!

I can identify with this, I remember my first night on the Long Trail in 1994, I was 19, laying in Seth Warner Shelter and started to think about my Long Trail hike...and I was on it!

Take it one day at a time, because in a blink, it's over, especially something like the Long Trail, it goes quick!
