Was hiking the Tumbled Rocks Trail at Devils Lake to hook up with the Ice Age Trail at the south end of the lake to circuit back north along the West Bluff Trail/IAT and came upon a snake sunning itself on a rock right next to the trail. I did a double take...it was a Northern Water Snake. Talk about the warm weather to see a snake in March!
