    Default Skyscape vs Notch vs?

Hi! Its new tent time to shave some weight off my pack. I've done a little research of trekking pole tents and I was curious of any thoughts on the Six Moon Design Skyscape vs Tarptent Notch tents. These seem to be 2 tents with a following. Is one better than the other or any pros and cons I need to know of? They are both about what I'm willing to spend. These will mainly be used in NC/TN and VA. Thanks!

    Notch for the following reasons:
    - water won't drip inside the tent when enter/exiting
    - the inner net tent can be used in shelters
    - the tarp can be used alone when the bugs aren't an issue
    - far better ventilation on the Notch

Nothing wrong with a Skyscape though - I just think the Notch is a superior design.

Also the Lighheart Solo will be right up your alley as well.

    Good luck
