I just did a two-day trip on 5/18/12 and 5/19/12 starting at Lincoln Woods Visitor Center to Flume, Liberty, Little Haystack, Lincoln and Lafayette, going out via Greenleaf Hut and the Old Bridle Path. Camped at Liberty Springs Tentsite.

If anyone else is going that way, you will find the trails mostly dry with no snow or ice. Liberty Springs Tentsite is in good shape. The spring there is flowing. There is an uninstalled bear box that has been dropped near the privy, I assume they are going to install somewhere later. It did come in handy -- you can use it.

There was water in a few places along the Osseo trail, but most of the springs are dry. Between Liberty Springs and Greenleaf hut I did not see any running water anywhere; bring extra. Got sunburned on the ridge...

Good hiking!
