    Default sunglasses

Don't fall for the "don't take sunglasses" recommendations. Last weekend did 3 days 2 nites on the AT in MD and really needed them. Not just because it was so bright, but I also could of avoided getting wacked in the eye twice with small branches. Take them! If you don't need them, wear them on your head.

Oh how true.I don't buy into the no sun in the woods thing. There are great for keeping the wind, dust, and other little no-seeums out of my peepers.

ChinMusic: It's 2184 miles to Katahdin, we got a full pack of food, half a liter of water, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

Dogs are excellent judges of character, this fact goes a long way toward explaining why some people don't like being around them.

I wear sunglasses from morning until dark everyday and feel lost without them, but for some reason I just can't seem to wear them on the trail. Not a weight or packing issue. Just don't like wearing them.
