Default when it rains it pours.

I am looking into buying a montbell versalite and was wondering if anyone else could enlighten me on the pros and cons of the jacket? Also any other lightweight shell recommendations would be appreciated

Been using a LongHouse Designs Goretex shell for a number of years. Works just fine. Anyway one looks at it things get wet unless fully protected.

I am looking for a new rain shell myself. I ordered a Rab Pulse in XL and found the fit a little too tight in the body for me. I am 6'3" 220 and like to layer. If it were not for the tight fit, it would have been a great jacket. Very light, great hood and long enough in the back. If the Rab fits, I think its a great choice.

Now I am looking at the Montbell and the Marmot super mica. My Montbell Alpine Light Parks in XL fits great, so I am hoping the versalite in XL will also. I talked to Marmot and they told.me if XL fits good for their Precip, I should go with the XXL for the super mica.
