There was an Old Man with a owl,
Who continued to bother and howl;
He sat on a rail, And imbibed bitter ale,
Which refreshed that Old Man and his owl. . WOO <Audio

Make your own. My hammock, tarp, and suspensions weighs about 2 lbs and cost me maybe $75. Diygearsupply.com has good options.
I think cheap and light are mutually exclusive.
Personally my current setup is a Light Hiker with a MacCat Deluxe. Great combo. I recently had the 2QZQ RW mod done to the hammock and love it.

I just received my Butt in a Sling hammock and I'm very impressed. It is longer than most hammocks (11 ft) and comes in at 6 oz. I got the Knotty mod and it is a nice addition.

It's less expensive than most parachute nylon hammocks but is much, much lighter.
