Default can i expect hikers in northern PA in june?

can anyone tell me how many hikers have come through harpers ferry by now?

the reason im interested is that i plan on doing some trail magic in the northern part of the trail in PA, and i just trying to figure out if there will actually be any hikers to feed. Im looking at doing it the first weekend in june, somewhere between the PA rt 309 crossing and the del water gap. I know i ran into plenty of hikers in the area in early july last year, but that was obviously a month later than this. Any help would be appreciated

    thanks,
    hambone

#8 left northern PA and went through NJ last week. Last year I met two thru's at the DWG hostel the first week of May. You might try calling the ATC office at Boiling Springs and get a feel for this years flow.

I bumped into three thru-hikers this past weekend in Northern PA. They are ahead of the bubble. All three left at the start of March.

Two from our area passed thru Harpers Ferry last week. They said they were #138 and #139 in the register.

I just past the New-York state line stopped in Pawling for a couple of zero's left Springer 2-14-2012 i have not seen another thru-hiker in about a month, if i keep this pace i will summit on the fourth of july, And i didn't stop in Harper's Ferry reason being it was too early that morning. And it seems none has seen you either.

Have you thought about feeding some truly needy people instead?
