I'm in Blacksburg and wondered if most people are beyond Blacksburg at this point. I'd like to do some trail magic. Where would you recommend I setup to hit the most hikers and what time of the day would be best--early morning or later in the afternoon? I could also do somewhere in Pearisurg, up 42 where the trail crosses, near Kelly's Knob.

Any suggestions?
