    ticks dont seem to like me. I can go out in the woods with others, come back and thy are covered and I have none. I also tend to get bug bit less. Must be a body chemistry thing. One I am thankful for. I still check every time though.Never can be too safe.

    Good job Whack a Mole - I had a similar experience two years ago and fired my doc... over a prescription mistake.
    There was an Old Man with a owl,
    Who continued to bother and howl;
    He sat on a rail, And imbibed bitter ale,
    Which refreshed that Old Man and his owl.

    I had a typo near the end of my post. Should say it will not get better UNtreated but you probably figured that out. This is an infection that is very easily curable for most people, but if left untreated it can leave serious permanent damage.

    If you have it in a chronic state,have you heard of any treatment,I have not,once it's full blown,you have it....is that what you have found out?Just as a note,all that have it do not necessarily present with a rash,and don't necessarily test positive.Prevention is your best bet!

    I had symptoms three times, was treated three times with Doxycycline, after two or three days the symptoms lessened and were not noticeable after a week, but I took the whole prescription of pills. Twice I got pills for three weeks, once only for two. I told all the doctors involved (three separate ones) that I hiked a lot. Never saw anything but a dog tick (wood tick) on me, and that was years before the Lyme symptoms.

    Btw: The official name for the disease is "Lyme Disease" (named after the town of Lyme, Conn. where the connection between the ticks and the disease was first noted).

    Did Adam and Eve rest on the first Sabbath? Scripture only says that God did. Are we thinking yet?
