For moving back and forth to places along the Pigeon Forge-Gatlinberg-Sugerlands-Newfound Gap-Cherokee corridor this inexpensive bus ($5 per person per ride) could be helpful:

Haven't used anyone in the Gatlinburg area myself, but have used several folks on there in VA, PA, and up North (not to mention I'm on there myself for the HF area).
