Default Double layer or single layer?

I have a WBBB 1.1 DL and Hennessy Expedition (single layer), I was wondering which you would recommend to bring onto the AT.
    Thanks!

The Warbonnet Blackbird. Even the name is fun to say and gets peoples attention plus its just a great hammock for sleeping in. Very easy to set up if you are using the stock straps with adjustable buckle and some Dutch Clips.

I took a WBBB 1.1 Double with me on the AT this year. It worked great. I used to own a Hennessy but prefer a Blackbird. Either one should serve you well though.

Thanks for the all the good advice. I think I need to clarify. I wonder if the single layer would server better than a double layer, not to compare WBBB with HH.

A double layer will work better is you plan to use a foam pad as the double layers help to keep the pad from shifting. Also the double layers tends to keep skeeters from biting thru the material. If you are just trying to go with the lightest weight then go with the 1.1 or 1.7 single that meats your weight requirements. Some uses report that there is less streach in the double layer and feel more comfortable in the double than in a single.

    I use a 1.7 Double BB

gunner is right about the double layer vs. single, but i went the opposite. bought a HH UL Explorer in '07 and JRB quilts. i has about 300 trail nights in it. i tried the WB hammocks and do not like them. the foot pocket and shelf are the things i can do without. the HH can also have zipper mods for the winter.
everyone is different. i use a DIY for the winter with no bugnet.

Thanks for the answers. I do find that my HH Expedition is very comfortable. For WBBB 1.1 DL, even if I put pad in it, if I sleep in an angle, the pad was to be found very hard to be adjusted (between layers or above layers), and leave half of my back with no pad underneath.
