Early August solo SOBO - looking for others

I'm planning on catching a train to Bangor early August, looking to begin my hike around August 6th. I'm 24 and from Baltimore, MD but in the process of moving to Front Royal, VA. I'm flexible on my start day (within a week or two.) Just curious as to who I might run into and possibly a hiking partner!

I am interested in hiking the trail but wouldn't be able to go until August 15th. Are you willing to wait until then. I'd be heading from Durham, NC but could meet in Bangor. Let me know what you think!

I'm starting on August 6th as well! I have lodging and a shuttle set up to put me in BSP at about 5 or 6 am on the 6th. I have reservations at BSP for the night of the 6th as well. If you want to hike together for a bit I would love to start the 100 mile wilderness with some company.

I'm Planning on hiking Katahdin on the 14th, then starting south on the 15th... I'm sure ill catch up to you Ron with in a few weeks

you will have no problem finding people when you start. by Monson you won't be with the same group they spread out quick in the 100 mile.
