My son and I are looking to try a day hike on the trail in georgia this July. Any recommendations for a good hike that we can handle in a day? We are just starting to gather some gear, but don't really have everything for an overnighter yet.

I can't wait until we've gotten enough gear together to be able to take a few nights on the trail too!
Thanks!
