    Default Grayson Highlands Blueberries

We are planning a trip to Grayson Highlands. Can anyone tell me if the blueberries and blackberries are ripe now, or if they might be in a week or so. Thanks.
Some people take the straight and narrow. Others the road less traveled. I just cut through the woods.

I was there a couple of weeks ago, and they were pretty darn close. We found one that was out of the millions we looked at.

Early August is generally a good time for blueberries at Grayson Highlands. I have often picked blueberries and blackberries at the same time.

Yup, that's when we usually go, but with the early spring and weird weather, I was wondering if they might be a little early this year.

Last year was very slim pickings. I had a local tell me it was the worst crop in his memory. I guess there was a bad frost that hit right at the time of blossoms and ruined the possibility of a good crop.

Will do, Snotty! Just gotta remember to only pick the blueberries that are higher than a dog can lift his leg and pee.

Why? It's all natural. If it's natural it can't hurt you
