Default So, I slept in a hammock

... outside my vacation cabin in Idaho. I set the Byers Mosquito Traveler between two trees just outside, added a Quilt and pillow from the bed, and climbed in. As it turns out, I was very comfortable and slept soundly, excepting occasional barking dogs. singing coyotes, chattering squirrels, and cheeping birds. Next backpacking trip, I'm doing further research.

Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me, either, just leave me alone.

Yes, welcome to the dark side!

Next up is to get an Under Quilt (UQ). Pick up a used three season one....it makes it toasty warm, then regulate with the top quilt, or a silk liner and such.

I just recently was turned. Did some research, found Just Jeff and Shug, bought a Warbonnet Blackbird, slept a night in my backyard, woke pain free, swung my legs out right into my waiting shoes and stood up. Hooked and cooked. No going back.

    Welcome!

I was out with the family last weekend. First night I stayed in the tent and slept like crap. The next two nights I was in the hammock and asleep before they knew what'd happened. I understand I slept so well that my snoring could be heard across the state line.
