    RockDoc, thanks for posting this. There are some poignant reflections in this video. I agree completely with every point made. Parents do need to step up and take responsibility in shaping their children.

    Sorry, this is unfortunately interlaced with a number of partisan viewpoints that simply use the trail as the vehicle to weave in his political points (entitlements, a critique of the president's upbringing, and shots about Trayvon Martin supporters). I say unfortunate because the parts about getting young men onto the trail were good. The parts about the woman solo hiker were possibly chauvinistic as well. This could have been a decent piece if he wasn't trying to score political points in it. Too mixed up with politics though.
