Default Life straw modification, ideas needed to fill cups.

I read on here I think that by using a Ziploc around the straw and squeezing you could fill cups and pots. I have tried that without much success.
I am think along the lines of pushing the filter of the straw through a membrane on a bottle/bag,something like a stretched rubber glove, bike inner tube, condom!. Just wondered if there were some good ideas out there.

Can a bladder hose connect with it?

Modify a lid to a squeezable bottle to connect to the lifestraw, should hopefully be common parts available in the hardware big box store.

Life straw is old news. Go with a Sawyer Squeeze mini. Way more configurations and weights less.

Youtube is great,I had spotted that a drinks cap nearly fitted but had thought of removing filter cap. I am going to try this with squeezable bottle. I do use a Travel Tap here in the UK which is similar to the Sawyer but will look at the Sawyer mini.
