    Well ok...

If you are looking for a lightweight 2 person tent, I suppose that is an option, but I would put up Lightheart Gear's Duo tent against the Mojo UFO tent and call the Duo better.

Only 5 ounces difference in the listed weights and the Duo has more listed space at a price of $300 vs $1800.

The best tent is the one that comes with its own porter.

Where did they hide the gold? And there are a lot of lighter shelters out there. Also it looks too finicky to me - too many poles, too many stakes, I like a simple shelter.

mmm - I've been comfortable and dry in some pretty awful rain and snow in my MSR Carbon Reflex and Hubba tents - assuming your tent is sited well and pitched well and you are dry then I think it is much more important to have a very comfortable sleeping bag than a super spendy tent. You can be pretty cozy and happy for a lot less but go for it if you want.

    Two better options:

Same tent is at Ebags for $1,199, or

version of this tent that weights 1 pound more is on sale at REI for $320.

If you tried to make a very close copy of that Mojo, maybe the final version will cost you $300.The first two or three prototypes will push the budget over that...

Good Lord. For that price it better come with a built in kitchen, fried chicken, homemade mac n cheese, a good ol' mess of smoky tastin' collard greens, sweet jesus' jalapeno cornbread, a pan of cathead biscuits with plenty of butter and homemade apple sauce, and don't forget the Dr. Pepper. And I ain't waitin' up for ya either. On second thought, I'll do all that, save myself about 800 bucks and unless that price comes down level with my Keens, you ain't gittin' any. But if ya say please I might give ya a biscuit. Said with love.

So I can make a Lightheart Cuben SoLong 6 that weighs less than this tent, has more square footage of space. Has 2 doors and comes with a stuff sack. And, it costs over $1000.00 less

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. We have a 20% off sale starting tomorrow
