    Default Glue for Tyvek?

Does anyone know of a good glue for Tyvek? I'm planning a small DIY project (rain mitts) with Tyvek and want to use glue, instead of tape.

I used Plumber's Goop from Lowe's. Still holding up great even after washing it.

Just curious if you could thermal weld tyvek with a hot knife? I know that when you see the Tyvek bunny suits, that is how they are cheaply made.

I used soft tyvek... machine sewed it and then washed it. Everything appears fine so far. Oh... I did seal the seams after washing it, we'll see what happen in the rain.

You can but themal bonding, melting, will remove the fabric's strength along the seam. The seam will be much, much weaker than the fabric.

I can elaborate but you probably wouldn't want me to.
