Question Rayon

I recently aquired some 60" wide beautiful blue rayon for $0.88/yard. It is nice and thin and soft, and I was thinking of making bag liners out of it. However, in researching its properties, I have found that it has high moisture absorbency and retention, likes to grow mold in warm humid conditions, and loses 40% of its strength when wet.

Would you all agree that I should keep looking for bag liner material? What materials do you make your bag liners out of? What do you consider to be the most important properties?

thanks!

Default sleeping bag liner or VBL

for winter/late fall/early spring why not a VBL.....Wanderlust sells the 'whole body' model for $25. It is all sil-nyl and mine doubles as my pack liner...clean bag, more degree rating, all for little ounces.....
I used silk bag liner on the six day hike on Isle Royale and loved it/needed it/ probably would have been miserable without it since I was using a Rab Top Bag and without it every time you move a gasp of cold air would hit the skin...
