Modified Ion stove

I posted a couple pics of a st ove I made.I made the stove a week ago but I was looking to make it more efficiant.I took another can and cut a strip from it about 2"x8" and rolled it into a tube, then cut a few notches at the bottom like you do when you make the inner wall, and then I just stuck it in the large center hole of the stove instead of chicken wire. I lit it and when the the vaporized fuel started burning through the jets I set my 18oz ss mug on top and the stove only burned through the jets. I havnt timed the boil yet because I ran out of HEET but it did boil faster on the first try than it did before.
Wat choo tink mon?? streamweaver

Good idea. Makes a nice field expedient alternative to hardware cloth.
