My husband and I are thinking of doing the trail next year. We are currently looking into health insurance and it seems that it isn't talked about a lot when discussing the AT. I am curious on cost and where you bought it through.

We now have at least 3 threads related to health insurance for hikers in the last week. It's good people are thinking about this subject, but I don't know how anyone will find the information next year when we're apt to have more.

We should consider linking what we have when it seems helpful and consolidating what we've learned into an article. Of course, it would take someone to write it, but we might all contribute our thoughts about what it should include.
