Default fabric glue

DOes anyone know if this stuff is as durable as stitching? Seems like a great idea since it would make a waterproof seal. Also, it would make a flush seam, something I cannot figure our how to do with my little sewing machine.

thanks! manzana in Austin

No--not as good as stitching. Eventually sort of wears out. Great to hold together stuff during the stitching process though. Brand specifics would be helpful in answering your question.
