Default Tarp-O-Rain-A-Pack-Cover

I just purchased six yards of 1.6 waterproof ripstop. I intend to use it as a combo hammock tarp and rain slicker. Anyone have good pattern suggestions?

Off the top of my head I can think of two different poncho/tarp desgins available on the web. There are probably others...googling would reveal them quickly if they exist.

The first link is a design by Roy Robinson, father of Flyin Brian who hiked the triple crown in a calendar year! Brian used this shelter throughout his 7000+ mile trek.

The second link is from our very own Sgt. Rock. He is a die-hard hammocker, and his design is tailored more to that affect. Since you mention you will be using it as a tarp for you hammock, you may want to take a look at this one.
