    Default Polypro Balaclava

I got a polypro balaclava from Campmor today and need some advice... it feels scratchy around the seams. Will this improve with washing or is that the nature of polypro? I like it from a weight perspective, and have walked to the mailbox with it and didn't feel the cold rain, so I think I like it, but don't know if I can handle the scratchy feeling for long. Thanks for the input!

If it is scratchy around the seams, it is probably the thread, not the material itself. If it is a nylon thread (think very thin fishing line), it probably won't go away after washing.

    Try turning it inside out.
