Description by Youngblood
Rattlesnake entering brushy trail, about 10 feet away. The snake is hard to see (that is the point) but he is in the middle of the photo. This was on the Benton MacKaye Trail in June of 2003, in Tennessee on the north slope of Big Frog Mountain in the Big Frog Wilderness. This photo is the 1st in a series that attempts to show what it can look like when you walk up to a rattlesnake. The 2nd photo is http://www.whiteblaze.net/gallery/showphoto.php/photo/5826/sort/2/cat/550/page/1 .
