This signpost is located at Slaughter Gap in Georgia (27.4 miles north of Springer Mountain) and is where the Duncan Ridge Trail departs the AT. The Duncan Ridge/Benton MacKaye Trail rejoins the AT at Long Creek Falls and the two trails form the 55 mile Georgia Loop Trail.

Looks just like it was early on a Sunday morning when I was there on August 3, 2003 after leaving Wood's Hole Shelter ... foggy!
