Someone said the trail between Newfound Gap and Charlie's Bunion was the most used section of the AT. We met 32 people between Newfound Gap and Icewater Springs Shelter.

    I counted 78 on my way up to the lookout north of Woody Gap one Oct Sunday afternoon, and I went on the Neel Gap, no idea how many more were behind me.
