This picture was taken from the side trail to Whitley Gap Shelter (36.9 miles north of Springer) and is looking back towards Cowrock Mountain on the AT. It was breezy that day and the low clouds where sweeping through Tesnatee Gap.

    Whitley Gap shelter is a ways off the AT but, the trail there does have some great views.
