Sun setting over the Smokies as seen from Cheoah Bald. 7.8.05. The colors changed so much, I could not resist posting several shots.

    The time I was there in July the sky was so cloudy we couldn't even see the sunset. Thanks for sharing these photos.

    Nice shot. I was there in late afternoon October '04 with high clouds - nothing like this.

    i was there back in november 06 and the veiws were astonishing for 360*.. we also had the full moon on nov 3rd, we slept out right under the wesser fire tower, awesome it was!!!! nice photo it brings back the memories
