Poster: Youngblood (see this users gallery) The Max Epperson Shelter is located behind the Amicalola Falls State Park vistors center, 8.8 miles south of Springer. It holds 12 people on its sleeping platform and loft. It is unusual in that it uses mesh wire for both the platform and loft.
