Yikes!! Wow, was there anything you guys didn't see on the BMT? You saw bears and boars and now this. I hope we get to see one, I've never seen one on the trail.

Hi, nice snake and nice photo. Just wanted to note that this is a timber rattler, Crotalus horridus, not an eastern diamondback rattlesnake. Diamondbacks do not occur anywhere near the AT.
