Eastern Diamonback Rattlesnake

Rattlesnake entering brushy trail, about 10 feet away. The snake is hard to see (that is the point) but he is in the middle of the photo. This was on the Benton MacKaye Trail in June of 2003, in Tennessee on the north slope of Big Frog Mountain in the Big Frog Wilderness.
