I initially finished my thru hike at Baxter State park entrance on July 26th. I flew home and returned 10 days later to do the final Katahdin climb with my wife and a few friends. |

2014 I hiked 1182.8 miles before I had to quit due to weight loss.
I came back in 2015 and hiked 756.6 miles to Maine! Where I dislocated my shoulder in Mahoosuc Notch! In 2016 came back to Maine and finished the remaining miles to Katahdin! 2185.3 miles hiked! |

In 2015, I intended to go all the way NoBo, but a foot ruptured at mile 1375 and I had to go off-trail for the winter to let the foot heal. But, I came back the next year (2016) and resumed my NoBo hike where I left off, and summitted Katahdin on August 18, 2016 - "A thru in Two" |

I started south from Damascus in 1993, doing short 40-50 mile trips. I have since hiked from Springer GA to Salisbury CT and the Whites from Franconia to Pinkham. I've picked up the pace a little and now do 100+ mile trips twice a year. 6 more to go. |
