Mr. Parkay's AT elevation profiles are down/gone or otherwise inaccessible. Anyone know where there are AT EP maps online?

I don't know where they would be online, but I have a PDF copy of them on my computer. PM me and I'll send them to your email. They do not say they are copyrighted, but they seem to be his creation, so I am hesitant to put them out on a public server somewhere.

Or try here http://parkaymaps.110mb.com/ for Mr. Parkay's AT and other maps [I couldn't get the paginated AT one to download]

Dang! I swear they weren't on the link you referenced above when I tried. I have it bookmarked because I've hiked a lot of those trails.

Yeah, it seems Parkay's profiles appear and disappear at will.

The Companion will have dedicated profiles starting in 2014. The ATC will also be offering a seperate book with only profiles only.

Here's a jpg copy of a low-rez sample.

Both should be out in a couple weeks (and can be pre-ordered).

Those are great Sly - I believe they have just a bit more detail that Mr. Parkay's.

Thanks. I was working on learning how to do it but Brian used some cartographers that help with the guidebooks. Otherwise it probably would have been another year.

Of course you'll get copies (PDF/soft cover) of the Companion for being a field editor but I just noticed if you buy a soft cover through the ATC Store you can get a PDF of the profiles. That's pretty cool.

If you buy one through this site, you can get a free electronic copy of the profiles by e-mailing your order number after Dec. 15, 2013, to [email protected] and asking for one.
