I just found out I'm going to be getting a few days off work soon and I would like to hike a little bit of the Pinhoti. I want to do 10-15 miles out camp and then 10-15 back to th car. Any suggestions on a good section to try out?

You get more views around the Cheaha area but I like the section between Pine Glen and Burns trailhead, I normally camp at the Coleman Lake overflow area, I've always been the only one there. The Dugger and Oakey mountain area is also good, IMO, Oakey is by far the hardest climb on the trail in AL.

I agree with Drybones...Cheaha offers great views. If you hike from Cheaha TH to Adams Gap TH that should get around the mileage you desire. Its a great hike!
However, it is popular and you will probably run into other hikers.
Check out the WIKI entry that Speaker has been working on. (http://www.trailguidewiki.com/wiki/Pinhoti-S06)

Cheaha - Cinnabee Silent trail loop is about 25 miles long. Be sure to check out the plane crash near the pinnacle overlook area.

I did the Pinhoti, Skyway, Chinnabee loop today. Clockwise: Turnip to Turnip.Great weather and excellent weather. I will probably post trip report within a few days.

Another recommendation for the Chinnabee loop. I recently did it from the Cheaha/Cave Creek trail head for days of 4, 16, and 8 miles. I wouldn't hesitate going back and doing it again.

In March I hiked from Porter's Gap to Cheaha State Park and posted a photo album, if you'd like to see some of the terrain and views. We went through Adams Gap on the way.

Hope this helps. Enjoy your hike!
