I am looking at a light heart duo or a black diamond beta light tarp and bug net what do u all think?

Has lots of options, not just the two you ask about.
Need further info for most people, though:
a. How experienced are you?
b. Used a tarp before?
c. Budget?
d. Your size?
e. One or two people?

Love my lightheart solong 6. If I were shopping for a true 2 person shelter, I would get the lighthearted duo with wedges in a heartbeat.
Big topic............to me I want water-tight, light, easy, packs small.
Saved for a while and purchased the So Long 6 in Cuben Fiber. Was tired of the "misting" that occurs with sil nylon, as well, carrying a wet tent all day long. Cuben fiber is just a great (albeit expensive) fabric.
I also want plenty of space........I tend to hike early in the season (Mid / late March) and Fall (late Sept / Oct) - many long nights in my tent, do not like to be cramped up, with me, pad, sleeping bag and pack I prefer having some extra room.
So Long 6 could sleep 2, like 22 ounces with two openings.
Tarp Tents are my go-to tents-I use a Contrail,but the new Notch seems like a good alternative. Would never give up my Contrail-love it...
