Some of you oldtimers may remember or know Raven; Ernst Banfield from Brighton,MI. He was a life member of the ALDHA. He passed away Jan. 3rd. Memorial contributions are suggested to the AT museum. You can view his obit and leave a message at www.borekjennings.com (http://www.borekjennings.com).

I'm sorry to hear this. I know he's been very ill for the past few years, but didn't realize he was gone.

And his voice relating the journey on the trail with his wife. It was a beautiful tribute to his life with her. Farewell, Raven.
Sorry to learn this. I met him at the ATC meeting in Harrisonburg back in '95 and haven't seen him since. I had no idea he was that old.
