I walk on the outside of my heal so my Lowa boots are only good for about 500 miles. I see these places on the net that resole boots, are they any good?

Dave Page Cobbler does good work: http://www.davepagecobbler.com/

Replaced the soles on my heavy bombproof Asolo hiking boots last year. $75+shipping. Seems well done but soon afterwards I switched to trail runners so I don't have a lot of miles on the new soles.

I've had good results with Dave Page as listed above as well as from Rocky Mountain Resole in Salida CO.

I thought I was saving good money when I sent my Aslo 520's away to an authorized repair shop that does a lot of business in resoling boots. The job was done well but the boots never felt the same again and not in a good way. I put about 50 miles on them but things didn't improve hen bought a new pair. Looking on the bright side, I've got a great pair of grass cutters.

Try these guys. cobcord.com. They resoled my boots, during my thru, in three days.
