We are looking for a shuttle ride from Hanover DOC parking lot to VT-103 Clarendon on Sept. 30 late morning. Has anyone had experience with Rutland Taxi? Last year we used Dot MacDonald and she provided an excellent shuttle ride complete with description of her experiences on the AT, but she is not available on a weekday morning. Any other suggestions?

Try giving Andy Petersen a call at 802-333-4093 (he's in the AT Shuttler Llisting (http://www.appalachiantrail.org/atf/cf/{D25B4747-42A3-4302-8D48-EF35C0B0D9F1}/ATshuttle.pdf)). Andy let us park at his house just north of Hanover and shuttled us to the Inn at Long Trail in September 2000. When my hiking partner had to get off early because of his knee he showed up within a few hours on a weekday. He's a former comptroller for a timber company and was very helpful. The Listing says he only goes out to Killington, but Clarendon isn't much further.
