Kicked up instant mashed potatoes!

I found this product last week in the spice aisle of the grocery store:

I got the Sour Cream and Onion flavor. At home, I sprinkled it into my mashed potato flakes. Then in camp, I cooked 'em up as usual. YUM YUM!!!!!

Maybe this is old news to most folks, but I had never seen sour cream and onion popcorn seasoning before. That's what made the connection to mashed potatoes in my mind. I bet the cheddar cheese flavor is good too! Heck! I bet all the flavors would add a new twist to lots of old camp favorites. Enjoy! :D

What about the Knorr soup mixes on potatoes or pasta?

Chicken, beef or veggie bullion cubes work well and very light.

Packet of gravy mix. But the popcorn spices do look interesting.

French onion soup mix works, or some garlic pepper.

Might want to check out ButterBuds as well. They have powdered butter and even powdered olive oil(haven't tried this yet). Butter Buds comes in a cheese butter and bacon butter flavor with the bacon flavored one being vegetarian. They also have organic Butter Buds. Some interesting stuff and it couldn't hurt to ask for free samples which they've provided to me when I asked. You'll have to add your "company name" :) for the free samples request though.

Might also try Alfredo, Sweet Basil Pesto, Sloppy Joe, Chili, Roasted Garlic Spaghetti sauce packets into the taters. I like going organic but other companies like McCormick also make similar powered mixes.
