Bear Can in Georgia

Last year you had to have one "a Bear can" between Jarrad Gap and Neels Gap is this needed this year and if so from what dates.

Yes, 3/1 thru 6/1.

You only need the bear vault if you are camping. Easy enough to camp at Lance Creek and then just hike thru this short section the next day.
