View Full Version : 2010 Hubba vs. 20013 Hubba... Coatings?
Hey all, have a 2010 Hubba with the yellow rainfly and burnt-red floor, and a 2013 Hubba with the green fly and bronze floor... I've noticed the coating surface is slightly different between the two. The 2010 being slightly shinier.
Can anyone enlighten me on the differences?
I also had the Hubba Hubba of that vintage and the coating on the fly began to break down and become noticeably sticky. Cascade designs replaced it free of charge just last year. You'll need to contact them first for a shipping number.

MSR had to make changes to the composition of the interior of the fly, due to a breakdown of the chemicals (in UV light?) that caused it to become extremely sticky / tacky over time.
If you write the company you will likely get more accurate information.
