Sandles ?

Hello everyone,
Anyone do a Thru-Hike with sandles such as Teva's or Chaco's was thinking of possibly going this route.
Any information would be appreciated.

I'm planning on doing my through-hike this year in Chaco's. I've also got pretty tough feet. For me I figure they'll work as my hiking "shoes" and my camp "shoes". For a reasonable price, Chaco will re-sole your sandals. I'm not sure how long it takes to get them re-soled. It's cheaper than buying 3 or 4 pairs of shoes along the way.
