I was picking up around the house, I came across an out of place flyswatter. An idea suddenly came to mind as I looked at it. Hey! If I took off the flyswatter part the metal wire could be bent into a campfire fork for hotdogs , brats, marshmallows, etc.
so I pulled off the flyswatter part and saw the hollow part that the end of the wire fits into. I cut those 2 hollow parts off of the flyswatter, thus producing a pair of end tips.
I then bent the fork part as wide from where the wire twists as wide as possible. Then straightened out the end of the wires parallel to the handle. Then burnt the paint off the end of the wires.
Voila! An UL campfire fork, I've misplaced it, but I remember the wt. as 1/2 to 3/4 oz. And cheap!
