Howdy, This may have already been posted, please forgive if I'm posting old info. Is anyone going to The Summit in boone NC in June? here is a link by the Trail Dames with some info about it. http://www.traildamessummit.com/about.htm
As a Very Large woman, I have taken my first steps towards my dream of a thur-hike by joining this group for curvy gals and am going on my first hike with the TN chapter this weekend ( have done several weekend hikes with boyscouts and hubby). I look forward to being with some gals that have simular interest and the encouragement from like-minded gals.
I'm trying to get my ducks in a row for the summit. Hope to see some of you there.
